News Chelsea's Angels
prev nextI met a woman who lovingly makes paper angels out of the pages of old books. They have wispy wings of folded pages, skirts of accordian pleated paper, wadded balls for heads, and delicate trim to finish them off. They start as books, but they end as loving tributes to those who are with us in spirit now. After she spends hours crafting each one, she sells them and donates everything to Camp Goodtimes.
Her daughter Chelsea died of cancer at 15, and she has dedicated her time since, to making those who face great challenges at young ages live with a little more joy - at Camp Goodtimes, a place for kids suffering from cancer.
There are all kinds of wondeful causes you can help with - and this is just one special area. Please help where you can, how you can. Your efforts mean a lot.
